The requested Masses are celebrated by priests of the Archdiocese of Minsk–Mohilev in eastern Belarus. They serve small communities, so they have free dates and can take on the responsibility of thirty Masses day after day.
Fr Józef Sierpejka
Parish priest of the Parish of Our Lady of Białynicze. The parish is small in terms of the number of the faithful, which allows the parish priest to celebrate Gregorian Masses regularly. It is in Białynicze that the requested Masses are celebrated first of all.

Other priests
Other priests from eastern Belarus in a similar situation – with free dates for intentions – also take part in the initiative. According to the Church's norms, Gregorian Masses need not be celebrated by the same priest or at the same altar; what matters is that they are celebrated day after day for one intention. The confirmation always gives the dates and times of the Masses.
The Shrine of Our Lady of Białynicze
For centuries Białynicze on the Druts river was one of the most important Marian shrines of the old Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, known as the “Częstochowa of Belarus”. The Carmelite church with the miraculous image of Our Lady, crowned in 1761, was destroyed in Soviet times.
Today the parish is rebuilding the shrine, and every Mass requested here supports this work.
