Privacy policy

This page describes how we process the personal data of people who contact us through the gregorianka.com website.

Data controller

The data controller is the Roman Catholic Parish of Our Lady of Białynicze in Białynicze (Belarus). Contact: gregorianka.belynichi@gmail.com.

What data we collect

Through the request form: your name, telephone number, e-mail address, the type of intention and the text of the intention or comment (including the names of the people for whom the Mass is to be celebrated). We receive the same data when you write to us by e-mail or via a messaging app.

Purpose and legal basis of processing

We process the data solely in order to accept your request for a Holy Mass, agree the date, send confirmation that the Mass has been celebrated and answer your questions. Because requesting a Mass intention may reveal religious beliefs, the legal basis for processing is your explicit consent given in the form (Article 6(1)(a) and Article 9(2)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the e-mail address above.

Who receives the data

The data is passed to the priests who celebrate the requested Masses and to providers of technical services: the hosting company that runs the website and the e-mail provider. The parish is located in Belarus, so the data is transferred outside the European Economic Area – to a country for which the European Commission has not issued a decision establishing an adequate level of protection. The transfer takes place on the basis of your explicit consent (Article 49(1)(a) GDPR).

How long we keep the data

For as long as is needed to carry out the request and send the confirmation, and thereafter for no longer than 12 months – unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing and to data portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent. You may lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country.

Cookies

The website does not use cookies for advertising or analytics. The server is protected by the DDoS-Guard service, which sets technical cookies needed to protect against attacks. The administration panel uses its own session cookie.
